We develop and validate radiolabeled antimicrobials to understand their spatial and temporal distribution in preclinical models of M. tuberculosis, S. aureus and other relevant pathogens, with later translation in humans subjects

Pathogen-specific Imaging

Bacteria possess metabolic and structural differences that can be exploited for pathogen-specific imaging. Using radiolabeled ligands it is possible to non-invasively detect pathogens


Inflammation and Host Response

Molecular imaging can also be applied to understand the host response to infection and monitor inflammation in multiple compartments
